Join the Cumberland Scottish Rite for our Fall 2018 Feast of Tishri and 32 Capping Ceremony! This combined event provides the opportunity to welcome new members into the Scottish Rite, honor those who have served our Valley with distinction, and take part in one of the Scottish Rite's most sacred ceremonies.
The Feast of Tishri will include a Thanksgiving feast of Roast Turkey and all the trimmings followed by the Ceremony of the Feast of Tishri, including the offering of the Eight Toasts of Obligation and a reading of Albert Pike's "Anthem No. 1."
The message of Tishri comes to us strongly and clearly from across the ages because it has been preserved in the symbolism and allegory of the Scottish Rite. Through our observance of this great feast of thanksgiving, we as heirs of Solomon, perpetuate his magnificent Temple of the freedom in our lives, our communities, our country, and most of all in our beloved Rite.
4:00 pm - Combined Installation and Capping Ceremony
5:00 pm - Feast of Tishri Dinner and Ceremony
